Charles Hayes

A Notre Dame graduate and 2003 graduate of IU Maurer School of Law, Charles spent seven years with the Marion County Public Defender Agency before co-founding the firm. He has secured not-guilty verdicts in attempted murder, rape, molestation, robbery, firearm, and narcotics cases, and has recovered millions for plaintiffs in jail-death and child-victimization cases. He has been rated a top-rated criminal defense lawyer by Super Lawyers.

Jane Ruemmele

A 1984 graduate of IU Maurer School of Law, Jane has served as lead counsel in more than 100 jury trials. Her career spans the Marion County Public Defender Agency, the State Public Defender, Ice Miller, and SK Huffer & Associates. She has argued before the Court of Appeals and received national recognition for her defense of clients who provided false confessions. She has been selected as one of the Top 100 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers in Indiana by the National Trial Lawyers.
